Camp Meeting

Chairman Fauwcett Komollo

The Camp committee is concerned with all plans entailed in preparing for a successful camp meeting at the Church. The plans include inviting guest speakers and choirs, preparing members for the camp meeting and mobilizing resources required during the camp meeting period.

Conducted annually, a camp meeting is a series of meetings held for one week. The Lord commanded Moses saying, “Say to the Israelites: On the fifteenth day of the Seventh month the Lord’s feast of the Tabernacle begins and it will last for seven days. For seven days present offerings made to the Lord by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering made to the lord by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work”. Leviticus 23:34, 36.

This event is an opportunity that God grants his children by His grace. It is a privilege for us to consecrate all our lives to Him during this Holy convocation that we may know Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
